"The third planet in the Fafnir A system, designated Fafnir A-3, is the only planet in the system with a breathable atmosphere and with a moon.",
"Scans suggest that Fafnir A-3 supports both plant life and animals. Fafnir A-3 is approximately 3.9 billion years old, which would place it in an earlier developmental stage when compared to Earth. However, observations and research has pointed to Fafnir A-3's much faster ecological development, being 400 million years ahead of Earth's development by comparison. The current hypothesis suggests, that the lack of oceans forced flora and fauna to evolve rapidly to thrive on land, in order to avoid extinction.",
		"",
"There is mounting evidence of animal life on the surface, but there is little to no evidence for intelligent life, primitive or technological.",
		"",
"Fafnir A-3 experiences full solar eclipses on a regular interval. Its moon's larger size and proximity, along with a near-perfect orbit and rotation cause eclipses every few days.",

		"Geological overview;",
"Fafnir A-3 is a continental planet, meaning the lack of oceans or large bodies of water. The vast majority of its surface area is takes up by land, with water on the surface being scarce. Recent tectonic and volcanic remains point to planet-wide series of eruptions 150- to 200 million years ago, similar to Earth's Siberian Traps eruptions. With the lack of a large water cycle, the remains of the eruptions have left massive plains of exposed stone on the surface, where no vegetation grows. These volcanic remains however have trapped water on the surface, and uplifting magma from the mantle brought up many millions of tonnes of metallic elements, primarily copper, bauxite and iron. The stone plains may also house exposed coal deposits.",

		"Biosphere overview;",
"The planet's climate is largely dry and warm in forested regions. The large eruptions likely caused a mass extinction event, estimated 80% to 95% of Fafnir A-3's species went extinct as a result. The ecosphere may still be recovering from the loss of biodiversity, leaving only a few species to populate the planet's surface. The current inhabitants of Fafnir A-3 are most likely small- to medium mammals, with avian species being rare. The global climate is unable to support reptiles of any size on the surface according to research.",
		"",
"Most of the planet is covered in ancient forests, similar to the giant Sequoia forests in western Sierra Nevada, located in The United Providences of North America. These forests are in their last stages of development, with other forested regions being in younger stages, which will grow into gigantic forests in thousands of years. Forested regions may house edible plants, which could be applicable to farming.",

		"Suggested course of action;",
"Locate a body of water and a stone plains region to begin mining operations. Search forested and mountainous regions for food and wildlife, beware of predators. "
