"Fafnir BC is a binary star system, with two stars orbiting each other in a stable orbit. Fafnir B is a smaller, much hotter star and younger star of the two. However Fafnir B is more massive than Fafnir C even if it is smaller in size. Fafnir C is in early stages of dying, slowly expanding into a red giant and losing its outer layers into space. As Fafnir C ejects half of its mass, it is being consumed by Fafnir B, which grows its mass in turn, adding more gases to its fuel supply that will keep Fafnir B in its main sequence for millions of years more.",
		"",
"Fafnir B and C were discovered in 2009, by many astrophysicists and mathematicians working in an international effort to map out the celestial objects in the local group. Prof. Farah and Prof. Farnsworth later collaborated on researching Fafnir BC in early 2031, going on to discover two gas giants orbiting the binary stars, designated Fafnir BC-1 and Fafnir BC-2.",
		"",
"After the bombing of California Institute of Technology, Fafnir C was renamed to \"Lily\", after Prof. Farah. Later in 2061, Fafnir B was renamed to \"Fin\" after Prof. Farnsworth after his death on board the first research ship capable of warping into hyperspace, UEC Starshot.",

"After the first flight of UEC Starshot, a petition was launched to rename Fafnir BC to \"Old Dancers\", which reached 17,361 signatures. Despite never being officially renamed, the nickname stuck with many in the field. In 2066, in preparation of UEC Phoenix's upcoming interstellar mission, the Astronomical League published an updated version of the local group's star map, where they referred to Fafnir BC as The Old Dancers, with the portraits of Professor Farnsworth and Professor Farah, and when the binary system was viewed in full, there was a picture of them dancing with their signatures, originally taken in 2029."
